A discarded railroad spike re-forged into a single-piece garden trowel. Hefty and solid. Seasoned while hot with paraffin wax. Great for weeding, transplanting, and general soil work.

The wax seasoning (used to prevent rust) will wear off with time and use. Wire brush or generally remove any blemishes as needed, and re-season while oven-hot with an oil or wax of your choice.
